9am to 3 pm at the Brick Room of Brethren Retirement Community.
Lewcrese Shields and Linda McGlothin are the teachers. They'll be showing us how to use the large end of the Rapid Fire Ruler to fussy cut diamonds. Members in 2012 already received this ruler, and we used the pointy end of the ruler to make stars in November. Contact a teacher if you'd like to purchase this ruler.
You'll need 1 1/2 yards of striped fabric for stars, 1 1/2 yards of background, sixteen 5 1/4" squares for square corners and four 9 1/2" squares for square centers. As well, you'll need your sewing machine and basic sewing supplies....check with a teacher if you did not get the detailed supply list at the last meeting.
Quilts, quilts, quilts.....this will be another beautiful one, so come get your quilt on, everyone!
Linda and Lewcrese showed us what types of striped fabric will work, and what won't. Notice the two lovely quilt tops behind them.....YOU can make a quilt like one of these!
